Weaving life in awareness
My deep connection to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and its indigenous communities taught me that the weaving of the spiral, or TUTU, KAME, or MOCHILA, is a form of meditation and mental clarity, this exemplifies how traditional crafts serve as spiritual tools that help us align our thoughts with natural harmony. This sacred practice accentuate the importance of being present, listening, and learning from the land and people to manifest balance and order in our lives, emphasizing a symbiotic relationship rooted in respect and understanding that transcends craftsmanship to become a spiritual discipline.
